There is an excellent post on how to format content for a post. Written on the Vertical Response (an email marketing firm) blog, this post explains how to ensure that the formatting is consistent, even if the sources of content (e.g. web pages, word, etc.) are inconsistent. Although this is written with Movable Type in mind, it applies equally well to WordPress (which is what the Viodi View uses).
