Last Sunday I enjoyed food, fun and festivities provided by Sierra Telephone, a California-based Independent Telephone company, as part of their efforts to celebrate National Small Telecommunications Week, NSTW. NSTW is an OPASTCO-led effort that is a great way for independent telcos to showcase their value to their community. This is exactly the kind of community-based marketing effort that will help differentiate the independent telco from a market place that will continue to become more and more competitive.
