For one thing, it is always held the week after Thanksgiving, right at the start of the holiday season. Like the holidays, the Western Show has always been an exciting event that holds the promise of surprises and good things to come. More importantly, like the holidays, the Western Show offers a chance to reconnect with friends and, in my case, family. <\/p>\n And in this month\u2019s newsletter, we will try to connect you with the things of interest we saw at this holiday funfest now known as Broadband Plus. Set at the Anaheim Hilton and basement of the Disneyland hotel, this was truly an exciting event for a pair of eyes new to the cable industry. This show gave a view of an entire industry – from programming to technology – that was about to change from simply retransporting broadcast signals to one that would create entirely new programming categories.
