Questions, Questions, Questions….

You have got them, our speakers have answers. I have heard many questions from telcos over the past few years and I have been feeding those to the speakers, as appropriate. But this is your chance to ask a question of the speaker. All information will be kept confidential. Click here to submit a question.
To get you thinking, here are some questions to consider:
- Why don’t studios or other content sources allow me to use DVD content – it has already been encoded?
- Why can’t any movie made at any time be available on an on-demand basis?
- Are there circumstances where I don’t need a franchise from a local governing authority?
- I only want to excerpt less than 10 seconds of a published song to include in a video production. Do I need an ASCAP license for that?
- What is the status of HDTV and must-carry?
- To what degree do I need to provide encryption within my network?
- What is the minimum number of subscribers required for success at local ad insertion?
- What are some techniques that have worked for marketing video services?
Hotel Note:
The Rooms at the Venetian seem to be going quickly. There are a number of nearby hotels that have competitive rates. http//www.lasvegas.com is one resource where you can find lower-cost alternatives.
