The Other Kind of IP
By Ken Pyle, Viodi, LLC
This article is a follow-up to the lecture that attorney Thomas Crowell gave to the Local Content Workshop attendees in Minnesota. In this brief snippet, Crowell discusses the four factors that determine whether or not a piece of content qualifies as ‘fair-use’. It is recommended that the first part of this video from the May issue of the Viodi View is watched first. Fair-use is just one of many factors that entities producing their own content have to understand.
This video was captured in a rather unique way.The Packet8 video phone was used to capture this video. In the meantime, if you want to get some ideas on how to create local content, then please attend one of our Local Content Workshops. Note, it may take a few minutes this seven minute video to load, but is well worth the wait.
Thanks to Packet8 for powering this video.
